City of Ekurhuleni Bursary Supports University and TVET Studies for 2027
Ekurhuleni’s 2027 Community Bursary targets academically deserving South African permanent residents aged 18–35: Grade 12 completed, 2027 admission/registration, household income ≤R600,000. Study must be full-time at an accredited South African university, university of technology or TVET college.
Eligible studies
- Built environment: Civil/Electrical Engineering, Property Studies, Building and Construction Management, Geomatics/GIS.
- ICT: BICT Internet of Things; BSc Computer Science and Informatics (Artificial Intelligence); BSc Information Technology.
- Finance: BCom Accounting and Finance; Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
- Environmental health: Environmental Health, Occupational Health and Safety, Water Quality, Waste Management.
- TVET (N3 entry): Electrical/Civil Engineering (NATED), Electrical Infrastructure Construction, Building and Civil Construction.
Documents and application
Submit certified ID, admission/registration, residence and household-income evidence; certification and residence proof must be within three months. Register at the official bursary portal, activate by email, select Community Bursary, apply and retain your reference. Deadline: 30 November 2026.
