Nestlé Future Talent Bursary Guide: Higher-Education Support and Requirements

Planning guide, not an open application announcement. The official Nestlé Future Talent Bursary notice hosted by administrator CareerWise closed on 9 January 2026. No replacement intake was verified when this guide was checked on 1 November 2026.

What the published bursary notice covered

The 2026 notice supported full-time higher education in South Africa for applicants aged 17–25. It listed engineering, data analysis, computer science, IT, innovation, digital/e-commerce, brand management, social-media marketing, media communications, agriculture, and food science and technology.

School leavers needed a matric certificate with at least a 65% average. Tertiary applicants needed at least 65% in the preceding academic year and registration at an accredited institution.

Documents in that application round

The notice requested certified ID and academic results, plus proof of registration or an admission letter. Applications used CareerWise and a round-specific promotional code. Do not reuse that old code as evidence of a new opening.

Is it fully funded?

The notice does not itemise funding coverage. This guide therefore does not promise full tuition, accommodation, meals, transport or a living allowance.

Reign Gigs preparation advice

Use the previous round to understand the kind of information you may need, not as a guarantee of future eligibility. When a new notice appears, compare its age rules, fields, marks, study-year restrictions and deadline with your own circumstances.

Ask for the funding terms before relying on an award to meet your full study budget. A bursary can support higher education without covering every expense. Keep a separate list of tuition, books, accommodation, meals and transport so that any shortfall is visible.

Keep your academic record readable and complete. If you have an admission offer but have not registered, check which document the new round accepts. Do not send identity documents to a social-media contact claiming to reserve a bursary.

Where to check for the next notice

Refer to Nestlé’s official regional careers information and the bursary administrator’s published notice. A historical graphic labelled “2026” or “fully funded” is not confirmation of current applications or funding coverage.
