Kannaland Municipality Internships Offer R120,000 Annual Packages and Two Years of Training
Kannaland Municipality is recruiting three Financial Interns under reference 58/2026. The all-inclusive package is R120,000 a year, with a two-year contract and the possibility of a further twelve-month extension.
Eligibility and training
Applicants need a relevant three-year bachelor’s degree, National Diploma at NQF 6 or FET College Diploma focused on economics, accounting, finance, local-government finance, internal auditing or risk management. MS Office, numeracy, communication and basic reconciliation or audit knowledge are required, alongside proficiency in two of Afrikaans, English and isiXhosa. Kannaland residents receive preference.
Experience covers municipal budgeting, financial reporting, procurement, assets, risk and governance.
