Information you send us
When you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use enquiry emails to respond and handle the matters raised. We keep them only while needed to resolve the enquiry or meet applicable legal obligations, and review and delete them when no longer needed. Our contact email is hosted by Google through Gmail.
ReignGigs does not collect CVs or applications and does not charge visitors for services. Applications are made directly to opportunity providers. Please do not send us CVs, identity documents or other sensitive information for an application. Our Contact page provides email and telephone details rather than a contact form.
Website services and technical information
The website runs on WordPress with GoDaddy hosting. Hosting and security services can process information such as IP addresses, requested pages, browser details and access times to deliver the website, diagnose problems and protect it from misuse. We use Wordfence for website security.
We use Google Analytics and Jetpack Stats to understand visits and use of our content. These services process information about pages visited, referring pages, browsers, devices and interactions. Google explains that sites using its services can send the page URL and IP address and may set or read cookies. Jetpack Stats also processes information such as IP address, visit time, browser language and country, and WordPress.com account information when a visitor is logged in to that service. Automattic says that its Stats logs containing visitor IP addresses and available WordPress.com usernames are retained for 28 days.
We use OneSignal for browser push notifications. Its service processes subscription identifiers, device/browser information and notification activity to provide and measure notifications. You can allow or block notifications through your browser and change that permission later in the browser’s site settings.
Technical information is handled by the relevant hosting, analytics, security and notification providers. Their retention practices differ by service and account settings; the provider notices below explain their practices. Service providers may process information in countries outside Zimbabwe.
Cookies and your choices
Website services may use cookies, local browser storage and similar technologies. You can manage or delete cookies and control notification permissions in your browser. Blocking these technologies may affect features and does not necessarily stop every form of technical data processing. Google describes additional Analytics controls in the information linked below.
