The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has officially opened applications for the ECOWAS Immersion Program 2027, a fully paid one-year professional development programme designed to equip young graduates with practical experience in regional integration and public service.
The programme offers successful applicants the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals within ECOWAS while contributing to initiatives that promote regional development, economic cooperation, and sustainable growth across West Africa.
Applications are open from 31 July to 31 August 2026.
About the ECOWAS Immersion Program
The ECOWAS Immersion Program is a professional placement initiative that provides recent graduates with hands-on experience inside one of Africa’s leading regional organizations.
Participants will spend one year working with experts across various departments while developing technical, professional, and leadership skills in an international working environment.
The programme is intended to prepare the next generation of professionals capable of supporting regional integration and development across ECOWAS Member States.
