Tasks
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist the UNEP FI HR focal point with consultant and intern documentation, ensuring proper submission and approvals through administrative channels.
- Liaise with interns and consultants to support onboarding, including ICT, workspace, and equipment setup.
- Maintain HR files, both hard and soft copies, ensuring documentation is complete and up-to-date.
- Coordinate with consultants and team leads on monthly deliverables and payroll processing.
- Support invoicing processes by tracking, filing, and following up on financial documents.
- Organize intern meetings, internal coaching sessions, and briefings as required.
- Assist the UNEP FI Travel focal point in travel approvals, requests, and reporting.
- Perform additional administrative duties as requested to ensure smooth office operations.
Interns will gain hands-on experience in administrative workflows, HR processes, and organizational coordination in an international environment.
Qualifications
Education and Certification
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
- Enrolled in a graduate program (Master’s or equivalent).
- Enrolled in the final year of a first university degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent).
- Recently graduated and commencing the internship within one year of graduation.
Recommended fields of study include Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, or related areas. Applicants must provide proof of enrollment or graduation.
Experience
- No professional work experience is required; relevant academic coursework or projects are sufficient.
- Familiarity with HR administration, office coordination, or related tasks is an advantage.
