The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is currently recruiting one Online Volunteer for a Graphic Designing assignment under its 2026 Online Volunteers Programme.

This fully remote opportunity allows skilled designers to contribute to UNDP Cameroon’s communication and advocacy campaigns supporting Sustainable Development Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.

Assignment Overview for Online Volunteers Program 2026

The Online Volunteer will work under the supervision of the Communication Analyst and in collaboration with the Digital Communication Assistant.

The role focuses on enhancing the visual quality and impact of UNDP Cameroon’s communication materials.


Key Responsibilities

During the 4-week assignment, the selected volunteer will:

  • Design advocacy and awareness materials (posters, flyers, banners)
  • Produce social media visuals optimized for multiple platforms
  • Develop simple infographics supporting key messages
  • Create reusable templates (social media cards, PowerPoint layouts)
  • Ensure full compliance with UNDP brand guidelines
  • Produce final deliverables in editable formats
  • Create graphic illustrations
  • Design materials in both French and English
  • Maintain high-quality production standards for web and print

All work must align with official UNDP branding and publication standards.


Required Qualifications

Applicants must demonstrate:

  • Professional experience in graphic design, preferably within UN agencies
  • Prior experience designing publication layouts
  • Strong knowledge of image processing, multimedia, web and digital publishing
  • Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Suite or equivalent)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred:

  • Degree in Graphic Design or related field
