Key Responsibilities for FIDH – International Federation for Human Rights Is Hiring a Programme Coordinator (Home-Based, €41,000 Salary)
1. Programme & Contractual Management
- Update consortium agreements and MoUs
- Ensure compliance with EU rules and donor requirements
- Oversee narrative and financial reporting coherence
- Monitor cross-cutting components and strategic implementation
- Support Steering Committee decisions and programme evolution
2. Consortium Governance & Facilitation
- Provide secretariat support to Steering Committee
- Organise and facilitate governance meetings

3. Liaison with Institutional Partners
- Maintain coordination with the European Commission (DG INTPA)

Required Profile
Experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in human rights, international justice, or international relations
- At least 3 years in a similar coordination role
- Proven experience managing multi-country, multi-partner, multi-year programmes
- Experience with EU-funded projects strongly preferred
- Demonstrated consortium coordination experience
Education
- Postgraduate diploma or advanced degree in:
- International law
- Political science
- International relations
- International cooperation or development
Skills
- Strong knowledge of transitional justice and international crimes accountability
- Experience working with institutional donors (especially EU)
- Excellent drafting and editing skills
- Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication abilities
- Ability to work under time pressure with autonomy
Languages
- Fluency in English (C1/C2)
- Strong proficiency in French
