Responsibilities
As a 2026 Oxfam Public Engagement Intern, you will support multiple teams, including media relations, content creation, digital engagement, design, and brand strategy. Key responsibilities include:
Media & Communications Support
- Monitor and compile Oxfam news mentions.
- Maintain a database of U.S.-based journalists.
- Manage incoming journalist requests.
- Assist in reviewing and proofreading digital and web content.
Social Media & Digital Engagement
- Track hashtags, influencer campaigns, and social media trends.
- Assist in scheduling and managing social media interactions.
Content & Asset Management
- Upload, tag, and organize digital assets (photos, videos, text) in Oxfam’s global system, Inuru.
