Qualifications
Eligibility
- Nationality: You must be a national of a country participating in the annual recruitment exercise. The list of participating countries varies each year and is announced on the UN Careers portal.
- Age: You must be 32 years old or younger in the year of the examination.
- Education: You must hold at least a first-level university degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent) relevant to the exam subject you are applying for. An advanced degree is often a significant advantage.
- Languages: You must be fluent in either English or French.
Experience
The YPP is designed for individuals with limited professional experience. While some experience is an asset, it is not a strict requirement for application. The program is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates and early-career professionals.
