Background & Job Description
World Vision International offers impactful internships for students and recent graduates in the U.S. These internships provide three-month virtual and in-person opportunities in the spring and summer, offering valuable, hands-on experience within one of the world’s largest international humanitarian, development, and advocacy organizations. Interns will contribute to the organization’s efforts to improve the lives of children globally, gaining practical experience while making a difference.
Interns will be involved in a variety of departments, including accounting, communications, global health, and humanitarian affairs, gaining exposure to the operations of a major global NGO.

Tasks
- Work Assignments: Take on meaningful tasks that will develop your technical skills and provide practical experience in areas such as global supply chain management, child development, communications, and more.
- Professional Development: Participate in weekly cohort sessions that include networking workshops, career coaching, and skill-building opportunities.
- Networking: Build connections with professionals in the field of international development and advocacy, fostering relationships that will benefit your career.
- Project Involvement: Contribute to real-world projects in areas such as grants acquisition, social media/graphic design, and program evaluation.

Qualifications
Education and Certification:
- Open to current undergraduate or graduate students, as well as recent graduates (within the past two years).
- Must be eligible to work in the United States (U.S. citizen/resident or F1-student visa).
Experience:
- Previous experience in related fields or internships is a plus but not required.
- A willingness to use your own electronic devices for internship purposes, with the ability to adhere to World Vision’s security software protocols.
Additional Information
- Location: Internships are remote and available to students and recent graduates in states where World Vision is registered as an employer, including California, New York, Florida, and more.
- Time Commitment: Internships are 13 weeks long, and interns set their schedules with their supervisor.
- Stipend: Interns receive a monthly stipend to help offset related expenses.
- Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years old and able to commit to a minimum of 24 hours per week.
