About Plan International

Plan International Pilipinas Foundation Inc. is a local non-government, non-religious, and non-political development and humanitarian organization dedicated to enabling children to live free from poverty, violence, inequality, and injustice. Our commitment to gender equality drives us to work actively with children, communities, institutions, and partners to address the root causes of poverty and gender inequality. We focus on empowering girls, young women, and other marginalized groups to improve their well-being and achieve their full potential.

The Opportunity

We are implementing a three-year project titled “Uniting Against Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC): Multistakeholder Collaborations for a Safer Digital Space.” This initiative aims to protect 1,000 children from online sexual exploitation across Manila, Dasmarinas (Cavite), and Llorente (Eastern Samar). The project focuses on two key outcomes:

  1. Strengthening the capacity of children and young people to protect themselves and their peers and to take collective action against online sexual exploitation and violence.
  2. Enhancing protection systems for children and young people from OSAEC in homes, schools, and digital spaces, with survivor-centered approaches to support public and private efforts in preventing, mitigating, and responding to OSAEC.
