Background & Job Description
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is offering a remote/home-based Communications Internship at its Istanbul Regional Hub. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in digital communications, social media management, and content creation for global development initiatives.
The selected intern will work with the Regional Communications Analyst and contribute to the visibility and outreach efforts of UNDP Eurasia through online platforms, website management, and social media engagement.

Tasks
- Assist in creating and uploading content for the UNDP Regional website.
- Develop engaging materials for social media channels, including Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Support the organization of key events, regional conferences, and report launches.
- Monitor social media trends and apply insights to enhance audience engagement.
- Conduct research and apply SEO and digital marketing strategies.
- Compile and analyze performance reports for digital platforms.
- Assist in video production, graphic design, and web content updates.

Qualifications
Education and Certification
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
- Be enrolled in a graduate school program (second university degree or higher).
- Be in the final year of a first university degree program (Bachelor’s level).
- Have recently graduated (within one year) in digital marketing, web management, graphic design, social media, communications, or a related field.
- Be enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship program related to digital communications.
Experience
- Experience in website management, digital communications, and content creation is preferred.
- Knowledge of HTML, graphic design, and video/photo editing software is an asset.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter (X), LinkedIn).
- Understanding of SEO, web metrics, and analytics reporting.
- Strong writing, research, and communication skills.
Additional Information
- Duration: 6 months.
- Location: Remote (home-based).
- Stipend: Interns will receive a stipend per UN regulations.
