ITC is a development agency fully dedicated to supporting the internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). ITC recently launched a new corporate website, and a writer/editor is required to work with the Digital Communications Unit for daily writing and editorial tasks throughout 2023. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The International Consultant will work under the overall supervision of the Digital Communications Officer, collaborating with the digital communications team. The Consultant will: Apply for the Position of Website Writer and Editor with United Nations
- Provide editing and editorial advice on content for the ITC website submitted by various teams.
- Create content for selected pages, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Ensure adherence to ITC style guide, branding, and website-specific guidelines.
- Identify visual and multimedia content to accompany texts.
- Refresh existing content as necessary.

Qualifications/Special Skills
Postgraduate degree (MA/MSc/MBA, PHD, or equivalent) in Journalism, Arts, International Relations, or related field. Extensive relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a university degree. Minimum of 10 years of journalism experience required. Experience with web-related content production, including content management systems (e.g., Drupal), is necessary.
