The United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) is hiring Call Center Associates for multiple positions at its office in Islamabad, Pakistan. This role is crucial in strengthening accountability to affected populations by ensuring effective information sharing, data management, and response coordination.
The selected candidates will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, managing data entry, escalating urgent matters, and ensuring confidentiality while maintaining professional communication. This role requires individuals with strong IT skills, cultural awareness, and multilingual proficiency to assist affected communities efficiently.

Tasks
- Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally, ensuring accurate information sharing and data entry.
- Respond to inquiries with empathy, neutrality, and patience, adhering to confidentiality and protection standards.
- Identify emerging issues and flag urgent concerns to supervisors for prompt resolution.
- Assist in preparing trend reports and analysis to support protection interventions.
- Support internal and external information management systems for efficient service delivery.
- Participate in meetings, training sessions, and quality assurance activities to enhance communication skills.
- Contribute to a collaborative call center environment, ensuring teamwork and efficiency.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of refugee law, humanitarian response, and protection guidelines.

Qualifications
Education and Certification
- Secondary education is required.
- A Diploma or University Degree in International Relations, IT, or a related field can substitute some years of experience.
Experience
- Minimum 6 years of related experience in the humanitarian or development field.
- Strong IT skills and proven experience in computer usage are required.
- Experience in multicultural, multilingual environments is preferred.
- Understanding of protection issues, displaced populations, and gender sensitivity is desirable.
- Prior experience in a call center or customer service role is an asset.
Languages
- Fluency in English and Urdu is required.
- Knowledge of Pashtu and/or Dari is also required.
Additional Information
- Contract Type: Local ICA Support (LICA-6)
- Duration: Ongoing contract (subject to performance and organizational needs)
- Location: Islamabad, Pakistan
