UNICEF Innocenti is the UN’s global research and foresight hub for children’s rights. The Social & Economic Policy (SEP) unit is creating a roster of consultants to quickly contract for a variety of research services. The open call seeks experts in specific skill sets, including quantitative and qualitative data analysis, impact evaluations of social programs, public finance, and data science. These are not immediate job openings, but rather a pre-selection process to create a pool of qualified candidates. Consultants will work remotely, collaborating with UNICEF staff from their own location.
Tasks
- Conduct research activities, including quantitative or qualitative data collection and analysis.
- Perform literature reviews and synthesize findings.
- Draft high-quality research outputs, such as reports, policy briefs, and academic articles.
- Provide expertise on impact evaluations of cash transfers and other social protection interventions.
- Use data science, machine learning, and big data analytics to support research.

Qualifications
Education and Certification

Experience
