Background & Job Description
EOF is a partnership between the Education Commission and the Global Steering Group for Impact Investment, created to tackle the global crises of learning poverty and youth unemployment. Their approach uses outcomes-based financing (OBF) to ensure that funding is directly tied to tangible results in education and skills training. As a remote intern with the Learning and Engagement team, you will help build the evidence, tools, and support for OBF’s use in the education sector.
Tasks
- Conduct research and generate knowledge on the value of OBF in education.
- Help develop learning materials to accompany technical briefs for a wider audience.
- Support the team in building and managing relationships with peer organizations and knowledge partners.
- Provide logistical support for events, including research and scheduling meetings.
- Contribute to mapping key stakeholders and networks in the fields of OBF, early childhood education, and skills for employment.

Qualifications
Education and Certification
- You must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program or have graduated within the last two years.
- A degree in a relevant subject like education, economics, or public policy is preferred.
Experience
- At least 18 years old.
- No immediate relatives working for UNICEF.
- An interest in international development, the global education sector, and international aid is desirable.
Additional Information
This is a full-time, six-month internship scheduled to start in September or October 2025. While the role is remote, candidates may need to be available during a significant portion of UK working hours. A monthly stipend will be provided, with the amount determined by your location. The deadline to apply is September 14, 2025. Shortlisted candidates will undergo a written test and two rounds of interviews.
