Qualifications
Education and Certification
- A bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in disaster management, environmental science, international relations, public policy, or a related field.

Experience
- Entry-Level: Internships or 1-3 years of relevant experience in disaster risk reduction, research, or international development.
- Mid-Level: 4-7 years of experience in project management, policy development, or technical advisory roles.
- Senior-Level: 8+ years of leadership experience in disaster risk management, policy formulation, and international collaboration.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English is required; additional UN languages (French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, or Russian) are an asset.
