**Project Description:**
The UNDP Climate Hub, as part of the Nature, Climate, Energy, and Waste (NCE&W) Hubs, supports integrated governance approaches and nature-based solutions. The newly established UNDP Climate Hub focuses on the “Climate Promise,” supporting countries in implementing pledges under the Paris Agreement. The Climate Hub is responsible for thought leadership, strategy formulation, pipeline development, policy and program support, global engagement, and partnerships development in the climate sector. The AF-EU-UNDP Innovation Small Grant Aggregator Platform (ISGAP) aims to support the development, diffusion, and evidence-building of innovative adaptation practices in developing countries. As small grant aggregators, UNDP makes grants available to a broad range of stakeholders on a competitive basis. The Partnerships and Innovative Finance Specialist is a key role in the ISGAP project. Specialist in Partnerships and Innovative Finance
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
The Partnerships and Innovative Finance Specialist will assist the ISGAP project in ensuring grantees receive business and investment advice and coordinating joint fundraising activities with program partners. Key responsibilities include providing technical guidance and support to grantees, delivering ongoing technical support, identifying projects with scaling potential, coordinating private sector strategies, supporting the selection process, and contributing to resource mobilization strategies. **Institutional Arrangement:**
The Specialist will work remotely from their home base, reporting to the ISGAP Project Manager in Bangkok. They will collaborate with UNDP Regional Hubs, HQ staff, and other counterparts. The Specialist will have access to relevant information necessary for task execution, provide their own workstation, and be flexible with availability for global consultations. **Required Skills and Experience:**
– Education: Master’s degree or higher in Business Management, Finance, International Relations, Business Administration, or closely related fields.
– Experience: Minimum of 7 years working in investment, impact finance, and/or SME development.
