Background & Job Description

The internship will take place within the Digital Communications Studio (DCS), where the intern will help conceptualize and create engaging social media and video content for UNDP campaigns and initiatives.

Tasks

As an intern, you will:

  • Research, create, and develop social media content in English and other languages for UNDP digital channels.
  • Produce social media videos from scriptwriting to editing and captioning.
  • Assist in editing videos in various formats and languages.
  • Write social media copy for global platforms, focusing on campaigns and UN International Days.
  • Support content curation, including research and presentation of stories, images, graphics, and videos.
  • Assist in producing analytics reports and working with influencers and partners.

Qualifications

Education and Certification

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Enrolled in a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent, or higher).
  • In the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor’s level).
  • Have graduated with a university degree within the last year and, if selected, must start the internship within one year of graduation.

Experience

  • Experience in social media management and content production is an asset.
  • Proficiency in tools like Adobe Suite, Canva, or other multimedia production software.

Additional Information

  • This internship is remote and full-time.
  • UNDP offers a stipend based on the duty location, with part-time internships prorated.
  • Applicants must provide proof of university enrollment, recommendation letters, and other relevant documentation.
