Role and Organizational Context: This position is crucial in the School-Based Programmes (SBP) division, contributing to the School Meals Coalition. As a Research, Data, and Analytics Officer, you will lead the Data and Monitoring Initiative, focusing on improving data availability on global school meal programs. Key Accountabilities:

• Lead the Data and Monitoring Initiative, overseeing indicators, processes, and a global database on school health and nutrition. Exciting Career Awaits : Research and Data Officer Position Open at WFP
• Coordinate workstreams, ensuring progress and evidence-based discussions on indicators and processes.
• Design, develop, and roll out a platform for the Global Database on School Health and Nutrition.
• Coordinate advisory groups, working groups, and support the mapping of existing data.
• Lead the design of surveys, identify focal persons, and facilitate data collection globally.
• Develop training modules, provide helpdesk support, and contribute to flagship publications.

Qualifications and Key Requirements:

• Advanced degree in epidemiology, public health, or statistics.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in designing and managing surveys and research.
• Fluency in English (level C) and intermediate knowledge (level B) of a second UN language.
