Remote International Campaign and Media Communications Specialist at UNDP
Background: UN Women, committed to equality, empowerment, and eliminating discrimination, seeks a Campaign and Media Communications Specialist to support the Lebanese Feminist Civil Society Platform’s upcoming campaign. Reporting to the Women’s Political Participation Programme Manager, the specialist will refine the campaign concept, conduct consultations, and develop strategies for effective advocacy. Duties and Responsibilities: The selected candidate will:
- Advise and enhance the campaign’s conceptualization.
- Conduct consultations to refine the campaign’s Call for Action.
- Identify target audiences, key messages, hashtags, activities, and tools.
- Finalize the campaign strategy for platform review.
- Develop visual assets, including videos and visuals.
- Conduct a final analysis of campaign results.
Deliverables and Timelines:
- Advise on campaign conceptualization (5 days after signing the contract)
- Conduct consultations for campaign refinement (10 days after signing the contract)
- Identify target audiences, messages, and activities (20 days after signing the contract)
- Finalize campaign strategy (35 days after signing the contract)
- Produce visual assets (150 days after signing the contract)

Required Skills and Experience:
- Education: Master’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a relevant field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in public relations, communications, or advocacy, including media relations, with experience in social media. Knowledge of gender and human rights is an asset.

Evaluation Criteria:
- Technical (70%): Education, experience in public relations, communications, advocacy, experience in gender and human rights, and social media.
