JOB SUMMARY:

Rangam Consultants, a global workforce solutions organization, is currently seeking a Data Entry Specialist. You will be responsible for transcribing and maintaining data accurately, working directly with our Sales and Supply Chain teams as well as our customers. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, has excellent communication skills, and is comfortable with analyzing data and proposing strategies for improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accurately input data provided by our Sales and Supply Chain teams or directly from customers
• Create and maintain spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without errors
• Verify data accuracy by comparing it to source documents
• Update and maintain existing data records
• Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
• Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent communication and coordination skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors
• Analytical mindset with the ability to perform data analysis and develop strategies for improvement
• Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong attention to detail to ensure data is error-free
• Intermediate knowledge of English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
