Remote and International Customer Service Representative Needed

Join our team at Porkbun, an international domain name registrar, that operates 100% remotely. We’re on the hunt for a full-time Technical Support Representative who can work on weekends and three weekdays. The annual salary is $37,500, plus benefits.

If you’re an efficient problem solver with a knack for delivering high-quality customer service, you might just be our ideal candidate! We’re looking for individuals who are adept at resolving technical issues, have strong writing skills, and excel in customer interaction. Prior industry knowledge is not a prerequisite as we are ready to provide the necessary training.

At Porkbun, we offer over 500 domain extensions, ranging from .com to .pizza to .plumbing, directly to consumers. Our user-friendly interface and economical pricing have led to a surge in our customer base, including tech-savvy developers and budget-conscious individuals who value our exceptional support.

Despite our intuitive interface, customers do face issues such as:

• Connecting their domain to Shopify
• Transferring their domain to Porkbun
• Website malfunctioning
• Purchasing WordPress hosting
• Failed payments
• Curiosity about our unusual company name

Your role will require you to:

• Write professionally toned emails
• Deliver excellent customer support, even when dealing with stressful situations or unhappy customers
• Solve problems efficiently
• Have at least one year of tech support experience in either an internal help desk or a customer-facing role
• Have a stable internet connection and a quiet workspace
• Work effectively in a remote setting
• Appreciate puns, even if they make you cringe
