The Opportunity: Join our dynamic team as a Procurement Officer and contribute to enhancing the professionalization of procurement practices at Plan International. In this role, you will work closely with the Procurement Manager to address a priority category, aiming to reduce costs, improve process compliance, and enhance supply chain responsiveness. Your responsibilities will extend beyond processing procurement requests, requiring innovative and analytical thinking. You will interpret stakeholder needs, add value to original thinking, and propose alternative sourcing solutions aligned with Plan International’s overall objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Procurement Manager in addressing a priority category to reduce costs and improve compliance.
- Take a holistic view of the procurement category, offering alternative sourcing solutions.
- Engage in a dialogue with stakeholders to understand their needs and add value to the original thinking.
- Review contracts, terms & conditions for goods, indirect, and professional services.

The Individual: To thrive in this role, we seek a candidate with knowledge of strategic and tactical procurement practices, including the ability to review contracts and terms & conditions. International procurement experience is essential, along with strong negotiation and communication skills.
