Responsibilities:

As the Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning (MERL) Officer, you will play a crucial role in implementing the project’s monitoring and evaluation plan. • Overseeing the operationalization of database systems for analyzing and reporting project data.
• Monitoring project progress and accomplishments, consolidating stakeholder feedback, and validating project reports. Plan International Invites Applications | 5 Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning Officer Roles
• Facilitating school and community assessments, as well as mid and end-line studies.
• Submitting required reports for the grant-funded project and documenting best practices and lessons learned.

• Supporting emergency response activities as needed.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Statistics, Social Work, Community Development, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of development work experience, including three years in research, planning, and managing community development projects. Plan International Invites Applications | 5 Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning Officer Roles
• Training in project management, participatory research, and monitoring and evaluation methods.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Residency in the Philippines and Filipino nationality.

Additional Information:

• Location: Makati City, Metro Manila
• Type of Role: Project-based (until January 2025)
• Reports to: Project Manager
• Office-based with flexible working arrangements
