Background & Job Description
The NASA International Internship (NASA I²) Program offers international students the chance to gain hands-on experience in a multicultural, global environment while contributing to NASA’s mission priorities. Designed to prepare future scientists, engineers, and professionals for collaborative international missions, the program hosts three internship sessions annually (spring, summer, and fall). Eligible candidates from participating countries (listed below) can engage in research and projects aligned with NASA’s objectives.

Tasks
- Collaborate on NASA projects and research initiatives relevant to global space exploration.
- Work in multicultural teams to address challenges in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM).
- Participate in assignments at NASA centers or affiliated institutions, depending on availability and program agreements.
- Present findings and contribute to multinational mission planning.

Qualifications
Education & Certification:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate STEM program related to NASA’s focus areas (e.g., aerospace engineering, planetary science, robotics).
- Must maintain a high academic standing (specific GPA requirements may vary by country).
Experience:
- Demonstrated interest in the U.S. space program and international collaboration.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal communication).
