At the heart of a successful organization is its people, and the Employee Engagement Intern role is pivotal within the Human Capital cluster. This position is designed to provide essential administrative and operational support to the Employee Engagement team, ensuring seamless execution of internal communication campaigns, events, and initiatives. The role directly contributes to fostering a positive and engaging employee experience across the organization, enabling the group’s diverse workforce to thrive.
Tasks
The Employee Engagement Intern will provide comprehensive support across internal communication, event coordination, and general employee engagement activities. Key responsibilities include:
- Internal Communication Support:
- Providing administrative support for all internal communications, including collating welcome mailer and vacancy mailer content.
- Monitoring and managing internal communication mailboxes, ensuring timely responses and issue resolution.
- Distributing signed-off communication to relevant audiences.
- Managing content uploads on Quest, Momentum Investments, and Singular sites.
- Assisting with copywriting for print and online mediums, proofreading, and editing.
- Sourcing, collating, and developing original news stories, blog posts, images, and multimedia graphics.
- Supporting employee activations and campaigns, including on-site assistance.
- Maintaining internal communication templates, information, and distribution lists.
- Generating personalized CEO welcome mails and GRITx certificates.
- Assisting with idea generation for stakeholder engagement tactics and preparing leadership quotes for well-being campaigns.
- Event Coordination:
- Managing event coordination for the Momentum Investments portfolio, including venue bookings (as backup), service provider liaison, RSVP monitoring, catering orders (as backup), and branding arrangements.
- Providing on-site event support.
- Preparing internal marketing materials like agendas, name tags, and presentations.
- Assisting with research, planning, logistics, and execution of events (conferences, wellness events, business summits, webinars).
- Running webinar support, including dry runs, managing event flow, and obtaining attendance reports.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Fostering strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and external partners for communication and events.
- Collaborating regularly with Human Capital team members.
- General Support & Reporting:
- Providing activation support (e.g., placing posters, desk drops, material delivery).
- Managing competitions (entries, prizes, distribution).
- Owning and maintaining the Human Capital calendar.
- Supporting video and photography (scheduling photoshoots, managing media assets, photo inventory).
- Identifying and recommending activities to improve staff engagement and wellness.
- Preparing reports on SharePoint traffic, MS Streams traffic, CLA system, QBR data, Exco employee engagement, and ad hoc reporting, including expense tracking.

Qualifications
Education and Certification
Candidates should possess a Diploma or a Bachelor’s degree in Communications. Related fields such as Marketing, Public Relations, or Human Resources with a strong communication focus may also be considered.
Experience
The role ideally requires two years of relevant experience pertaining to the outputs of the position. This could include experience in internal communications, event coordination, administrative support, or a similar capacity within a corporate environment. Key advantages include:
