The Mercedes-Benz beVisioneers Fellowship 2025 is a one-year, fully funded program supporting young people who are committed to solving environmental challenges through innovation and local action. Backed by Mercedes-Benz and implemented by The DO School, the fellowship equips participants with mentorship, funding, and capacity-building support to bring their ideas to life.
Launched in 2023, the beVisioneers initiative aims to scale up to 1,000 fellows annually, fostering a powerful global network of young leaders committed to sustainability. Fellows benefit from expert guidance, structured learning, and real-world tools to implement tangible environmental impact in their communities.
This opportunity is ideal for students, early-stage innovators, and aspiring sustainability leaders between the ages of 16 and 28.
Tasks
- Design and implement a local environmental project based on a clearly identified problem
- Participate in a 12-month structured curriculum focused on sustainability, leadership, and social entrepreneurship
- Engage in one-on-one mentorship and peer learning sessions
- Collaborate with other fellows across regions and disciplines
- Attend online and in-person workshops (travel funded if needed)
- Report progress and outcomes of your project with support from your mentor

Qualifications
Education and Certification
- No formal degree is required
- Must be between 16 and 28 years old (born between Jan 13, 1996, and Oct 14, 2008)
Experience
- Must demonstrate a strong commitment to solving an environmental issue
- Should already have a project idea or early-stage initiative ready to develop
- Strong English communication skills are required (program is conducted in English)
Residency
- Must currently reside in one of the following regions:
Europe & Nearby: Austria, France, Germany, UK, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden, and many others
Africa: Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zimbabwe
Asia: India, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Malaysia, Turkey
Americas: United States, Mexico, Chile, Panama, Costa Rica
