IIE Rosebank College, a part of the ADvTECH Group and one of South Africa’s leading private higher education institutions, is offering a Library Internship position at its Nelson Mandela Bay (Gqeberha) campus. The intern will assist with routine library tasks and support the Librarian in delivering excellent service to students. Tasks
- Operate the circulation desk for book issuing, renewals, and returns
- Handle newspapers and journals daily
- Conduct shelf reading to maintain order
- Ensure equipment like computers, printers, and copiers are functional
- Update notice boards and create library displays
- Assist students with computer use and OPAC searches
- Keep the library neat and presentable
- Support the Librarian with clerical tasks and during workshops

Education and Certification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science (NQF Level 7)
Experience
