La section Protection de l’Enfant est en charge des programmes de prévention et de réponse aux violences, abus, exploitations et pratiques néfastes auxquels sont exposés les enfants. Based in New York, the Intern will support the Knowledge Management Specialist and the Programme Specialist on global coordination of UNICEF action across HQ, regional and country offices, by supporting the coordination of the Hub’s capacity building trainings and events, UNICEF’s Global Migration Practise Group, by working with Regional and Country Offices to produce a monthly global newsletter, by supporting data analysis and visualization as well as providing background research and analysis upon demand – covering topics such as climate change and displacement, solutions for internal displacement, and inclusion of migrant and displaced children into national health, education, social protection and child protection systems.
Under the supervision of the Child Rights Monitoring and Evaluation (CRME) Specialist and in close coordination with Deputy Representative and other programme colleagues, the Information and Knowledge Management intern will assist in the collection, consolidation, and analysis of relevant data and information related to children’s rights issues and UNICEF’s programming.

The main purpose of this internship is to support the UNICEF Sanitation and Hygiene Team in capturing, documenting, and disseminating events and initiatives from the implementation of Climate Resilient Sanitation Coalition workplan and the UNICEF Sanitation Game Plan. This will further support the ongoing efforts of enhancing the capacity of UNICEF WASH staff and sector partners on accelerating the progress on climate resilient and safely managed sanitation.
UNICEF is looking for interns to support the Finance and Master Data Management processes at the Global Shared Services Centre.
