Additional Information
- Assignment Duration:
- Consultants: Services are typically contracted for up to 24 months within a 36-month period.
- Individual Contractors: Provide services for a maximum of 6 months, with the possibility of an extension to 9 months in special circumstances.
- Remuneration: Consultants and contractors are compensated based on the complexity of the work, their qualifications, and the agreed terms before signing the contract. The fee may be set on a daily, monthly, or deliverable-based rate.
- Benefits: Consultants and contractors are not eligible for paid leave or insurance benefits. However, if travel is required, the UN will cover travel expenses and provide a daily subsistence allowance.
