Ireland Fellows Programme Africa : Application Deadline : 30 July 2023

The Ireland Fellows Programme Africa provides an opportunity for early to mid-career professionals from eligible countries, who have demonstrated leadership potential, to receive a prestigious and high-quality education that contributes to capacity building.

This program offers selected students the chance to pursue a fully funded one-year master’s level program at a higher education institution in Ireland. The scholarship covers program fees, travel expenses, accommodation, and living costs. Eligible master’s level programs in Ireland typically start in August or September and range from 10 to 16 months in duration.

The Ireland Fellows Programme emphasizes gender equality, equal opportunity, and embraces diversity. Our Development Policy aligns with SDG 16, which focuses on establishing effective, accountable, and inclusive institutions at all levels. We strongly encourage applications from a wide range of individuals, including those with disabilities, individuals from minority or disadvantaged groups, and individuals whose gender identity falls outside the male/female binary.

The objectives of the programme are to cultivate future leaders, enhance in-country capacity to achieve national Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and foster positive relationships with Ireland.
