Internship Overview: As an intern in the Partnerships, Policy, and Communications Unit, you will be based at UNCDF Headquarters in New York. Working under the guidance of the Head of the Unit and collaborating closely with unit staff, you will contribute to ongoing projects and goals. This includes expanding partnerships, preparing policy briefs, supporting major initiatives on blended finance and enterprises in Africa, and building and maintaining a knowledge base about Member States. Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic advocacy and partnership development
Creation of new innovative finance vehicles and instruments
Mobilization of core and non-core resources

Effective internal and external donor relations

Requirements:

Enrolled in a degree program in Business Administration, Economic Development, Economics, Finance, or related field
Fluency in English (French is desirable)
Strong writing skills and ability to present persuasive arguments

Organizational skills and ability to multitask
