The UNDP, UN Women, and UNICEF Joint Programme “Reinforcing equal access to justice for all Palestinians” (2024-2028) aims to enhance access to justice, particularly for vulnerable groups such as women and children, in Palestine. The programme addresses challenges faced by civil society institutions, including funding sustainability and threats from conservative groups. It strengthens the legal aid system, promotes partnerships between government bodies and civil society organizations (CSOs), and fosters a people-centered culture that upholds the rule of law and fundamental rights.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Data Gathering and Entry Support:
    • Compile and process data sets from various sources.
    • Update statistical series and prepare spreadsheets, tables, charts, and graphs.
    • Maintain computerized databases and gather data from beneficiaries.
    • Manage data entry of projects into the Monitoring and Evaluation system.
  2. Management Support:
    • Engage with civil society partner organizations.
    • Assist with paper and electronic archiving.
    • Prepare for workshops, meetings, and field visits.
    • Review reports and provide support as needed.
  3. Other:
    • Support other relevant activities as required.

Internship Conditions:

  • UNDP provides a monthly stipend according to its internship policy.
  • Interns are responsible for their own expenses, insurance, visas, and travel arrangements.
  • Interns cannot apply for staff positions during the internship period.
  • Full-time commitment is expected, with flexibility for educational programs.
  • Financing for subsistence and other arrangements are the intern’s responsibility.
