The International Trade Centre (ITC) is a joint agency of the United Nations (UN) and the World Trade Organization (WTO), dedicated to assisting developing and transition economies in leveraging global trade opportunities. As an EFI Research and Writing Intern, you will support content development, communication strategies, and industry research. This internship is a six-month, home-based opportunity, allowing you to contribute remotely to global trade and ethical fashion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Communication & Content Writing
- Conduct in-depth research and develop compelling content for EFI’s website and social media platforms.
- Write articles, impact stories, and industry insights showcasing EFI’s work.
- Collaborate with ITC’s Communication & Events (C&E) division to ensure content aligns with organizational guidelines.
- Participate in editorial meetings, offering updates on EFI’s communication initiatives.
2. Industry Research & Analysis
- Conduct market research on ethical fashion, sustainability, and international trade.
- Analyze industry reports and consumer trends to support project development.
- Assist in drafting project concept notes and reports, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Present key findings during team meetings to drive strategic discussions.
3. Project Support
- Assist in project reporting and performance assessments.
- Provide editorial support for EFI reports and presentations.
- Contribute to the preparation of funding proposals, marketing strategies, and research papers.
- Support additional tasks related to EFI’s communication and project management needs.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Certification
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria at the time of application:
- Be enrolled in a graduate program (Master’s degree or equivalent).
- Be in the final academic year of a Bachelor’s degree program.
- Have completed a university degree within the past year (Bachelor’s or higher).
