Exciting Opportunity: Programme Specialist Roles at UNICEF
Key Responsibilities:
As a Programme Specialist, you will:
- Drive effective program planning and management, leveraging knowledge management systems to strengthen program implementation.
- Conduct situation analyses, identify critical intervention points, and develop comprehensive program work plans and reports.
- Optimize the utilization of program funds and resources to maximize impact.
- Conduct thorough program monitoring and evaluations to improve performance and ensure accountability.
- Champion a rights-based and results-based approach across all program phases and activities.
- Foster strategic partnerships and collaborations to advance advocacy efforts and enhance program outcomes.
Qualifications:
Education: Advanced university degree in Social Sciences, International Relations, Government, Public Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- Five years of relevant professional experience, with a focus on program management.
- Experience working in a developing country context is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with emergency response operations is an advantage.
Language Requirements: Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in another official UN language or a local language is advantageous.
