Reporting Lines
As a Communication and Content Specialist at the RNE, you will report directly to the Regional Communication Officer. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues across departments and units to develop and implement communication strategies, produce compelling content, and engage stakeholders in FAO’s mission and activities.
Technical Focus
As a Communication and Content Specialist, your role will focus on developing and disseminating compelling content that highlights FAO’s impact and achievements in the NENA region. You will leverage your expertise in communication and content creation to raise awareness, drive engagement, and inspire action among diverse audiences, including policymakers, donors, and the general public.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Produce high-quality content, including articles, blog posts, videos, infographics, and social media posts, that effectively communicate FAO’s message and priorities in the NENA region.
- Campaign Development: Develop and implement communication campaigns and initiatives to promote FAO’s programs and activities, raise awareness about key issues, and mobilize support for sustainable agriculture and rural development.
