Supervisor: Business and Human Rights Specialist
Duties and Responsibilities:
Research Analysis and Programme Support:
- Conduct research to develop a blueprint for business and human rights priorities in India, aligning with responsible business practices.
- Undertake secondary research on sustainability, green economy, and related topics.
- Assist in writing project-related documents and synthesize knowledge products.
- Identify areas for private sector engagement on human rights and sustainability.
- Collaborate with UN agencies to implement responsible business frameworks.
Communications and Knowledge Management:
- Contribute to policy briefs, speeches, and advocacy materials.
- Proofread and edit reports and communication materials.
- Develop a social media strategy and prepare visual materials.
- Assist in organizing webinars, conferences, and events.
- Disseminate best practices on responsible business practices.
Engagement with Private Sector:
- Build networks and engage with industry associations.
- Support capacity-building efforts for the private sector.
- Collaborate with UN system-wide coordination groups.

Required Skills and Experience:
Education:
- Currently in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree or enrolled in a postgraduate programme.

- Familiarity with design and data analysis tools is desirable.
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Hindi is desirable.
