  • Update and improve databases, indexes, and other information systems to support UNESCO’s work in the field of natural sciences.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in a relevant field such as basic sciences, natural sciences, or science, technology, and innovation (STI).
  • Minimum 2 years of progressively responsible professional experience in one of these fields, preferably in an international environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills, including experience in organizing international meetings and events.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to collect, synthesize, and analyze information from various sources.
  • Capacity to build and maintain effective working relationships in a multicultural environment, and to communicate and negotiate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
