This Unemployed Learner Visual Merchandiser Learnership is part of CCBSA’s broader initiative to provide meaningful work experience and skills development for unemployed youth. Reporting to an Account Developer, the Visual Merchandiser Learner will interact directly with sales team members, consumers, and customers, gaining hands-on exposure to in-store execution and brand visibility strategies. Tasks
The Unemployed Learner Visual Merchandiser will be responsible for executing key in-store activities to ensure Coca-Cola products are prominently displayed and readily available. Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Executing daily call schedules across assigned bronze and tin outlets, ensuring alignment with planned call objectives.
- Implementing visual merchandising standards, including stock rotation and in-store displays, in line with brand guidelines.
- Ensuring product quality, availability, and visibility according to RED (Right Execution Daily) standards and completion of the iRED survey.
- Supporting and educating customers on placing orders through the MyCCBA platform.
- Assisting in the execution of promotional activities to enhance brand visibility and drive sales.
- Providing relief support as needed, as directed by the line manager.

Qualifications
Education and Certification
Applicants must have a Grade 12 certificate with a minimum pass rate of 40% in Maths or Maths Literacy. Additionally, a minimum pass rate of 40% in Grade 12 Communication (English and a second language) is required. While not mandatory, a post-Matric qualification in Sales & Marketing is advantageous.
Experience
Candidates must be unemployed South African citizens and meet Employment Equity guidelines. Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years old. It is essential that candidates have no criminal record or adverse credit record and must consent to criminal, ID, and qualification verification checks. A Driver’s License is advantageous as it may be required for travelling to different stores.
