The CISCO Virtual Internship Program 2025 is a joint initiative between Cisco and the All Council for Technical Education (AICTE), aimed at developing digital skills and strengthening India’s tech talent pipeline. This internship is part of Cisco’s broader commitment to digital skilling and offers learning opportunities through the Cisco Networking Academy (NetAcad).
This program is conducted virtually, allowing students to participate from anywhere. Through structured modules and practical projects, students will gain hands-on experience in networking and cybersecurity, making them more job-ready in the digital economy.
Tasks
Interns will:
- Complete online courses on networking and cybersecurity via NetAcad
- Attend an industry session conducted by Cisco professionals
- Work on a real-world problem statement under faculty guidance
- Submit a final project and pass a quiz
- Earn digital badges and receive certification upon successful completion

Qualifications
Education and Certification
- Must be a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd-year student enrolled in an engineering or technical degree or diploma program
- Must be from an institution affiliated with the Cisco Networking Academy

- No prior internship or job experience needed
- Basic knowledge of networking or cybersecurity is an advantage
