Responsibilities

These toolkits play a crucial role in helping cities assess and enhance their resilience to disasters.
  3. Capacity Building: You will support the preparation, coordination, and delivery of capacity development training workshops for government officials and partners, focusing on urban resilience and disaster risk reduction. These workshops aim to empower stakeholders with the knowledge and skills needed to build more resilient communities.

Your writing skills will be instrumental in communicating complex concepts in an accessible manner.
  5. Document Preparation: You will assist in drafting background documents, concept notes, reports, and presentations for various stakeholders. Your ability to synthesize information and communicate key messages effectively will be essential in supporting UNDRR’s advocacy efforts.
  6. Data Analysis: You will collect disaggregated data on training participants, analyze training evaluation surveys, and prepare training reports. Your analytical skills will help uncover valuable insights that inform the continuous improvement of capacity-building programs.
  7. Other Tasks: As needed, you may be assigned additional tasks to support the overall objectives of the Programme Management team.
