Categories, Duration, and Stipend:
- Category I:
- For individuals pursuing a first-level university degree or advanced university degree with incomplete coursework or final thesis.
- Duration: 2 to 6 months.
- Stipend: 1,645 Swiss francs per month, inclusive of local transportation allowance.
- Category II:
- For individuals pursuing an advanced university degree with completed coursework or obtained within the last two years.
- Duration: 2 to 12 months.
- Stipend: 2,170 Swiss francs per month, inclusive of local transportation allowance.
Internships at WIPO external offices will have stipends adjusted according to local conditions and paid in local currency.
Fields of Internship: Interns have the opportunity to engage in various fields, including but not limited to:
- Law/IP Law
- Economics/Statistics
- Information Technology
- Technical Cooperation Services
- Project Administration
- Administration (Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, Program Planning)
- Patent/Trademark Examination
- Copyright
- Translation
- Other areas (Communications/Conference Services/Security)
Main Duties: Interns will undertake tasks specified by the Hiring Office, contributing to projects aligned with WIPO’s objectives and initiatives.
Education and Skills:
- Candidates pursuing or holding a university degree are eligible.
- Proficiency in computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and good analytical abilities are required.
