The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) invites expressions of interest for various profiles. The Shared Services Centre (SSC) plays a crucial role in this mission. The SSC is responsible for recommending and administering process management and procedures. This ensures the effective execution of tasks and the management of quality assurance activities associated with transactional processes. By implementing service delivery mechanisms and pursuing a continuous improvement agenda, the SSC aims to enhance customer satisfaction and drive service excellence. This is achieved through process standardization, automation, and self-service capabilities, ultimately reducing the costs of service delivery.

Purpose of the Call for Expression of Interest

The primary objective of this Call for Expression of Interest is to attract talent in various administrative areas. This initiative will create a roster of applicants to identify candidates for Personal Services Agreement (PSA) National (PSA.NAT) positions. Minimum Requirements:

To be considered for inclusion in the roster, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Nationality: Candidates must be nationals of Hungary or holders of an existing visa/work permit in Hungary at the time of application. This ensures that candidates are legally eligible to work in the country.
  • Education: Candidates must have completed Secondary School Education. This provides a foundation of knowledge and skills necessary for the administrative roles covered by the roster.
  • Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of one year of relevant experience in related positions. This experience ensures that candidates have practical skills and knowledge applicable to the roles for which they are being considered.
  • Languages: Candidates must have working knowledge (Level C) of English. This ensures that they can effectively communicate in the primary language used within FAO.
  • IT Skills:
    • Basic IT Skills: Candidates must have knowledge of MS Office applications, the internet, and office technology equipment. These skills are essential for performing administrative tasks efficiently.
    • Advanced IT Skills: Proficiency in corporate electronic databases and systems is considered an asset. This includes experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and other specialized software used within FAO.
