UN Women, dedicated to gender equality and women’s empowerment, is seeking experts in various fields to contribute to the Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG) Roster. This roster aims to support technical activities under the Spotlight Initiative and other flagship programs.

Key Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Social Science, Gender Studies, Anthropology, Management, Public Policy, or related social sciences, or a first-level university degree with additional 2 years of qualifying experience.
At least 5 years of professional experience in areas such as legal and policy reform, VAWG and Data, networking and advocacy, public policy analysis/development, gender budgeting, data collection, and analysis. Ending Violence Against Women and Girls Roster of Experts
Recognized expertise and experience in VAWG.
Fluency in English, Spanish, or French; working knowledge of Portuguese, Russian, or Arabic is a strong asset.

Competencies:

Proven technical competencies in ending violence against women/girls.
Demonstrated experience in gender equality, VAW, and result-oriented program formulation. Ending Violence Against Women and Girls Roster of Experts
Organizational experience in building strategic partnerships with various stakeholders.
Knowledge of women’s human rights instruments (international and national). Ending Violence Against Women and Girls Roster of Experts

Contracting Arrangements: Successful candidates will be included in UN Women’s technical expert roster for 2 years. Entry into the roster does not guarantee a contract, depending on forthcoming needs. Specific ToRs and SSAs will be provided for each assignment.
