The Young Professionals Programme (YPP) is central to this mission, offering young talent an immersive experience to understand and address complex social challenges. Participants will gain practical experience through meaningful, on-the-ground work, directly contributing to efforts that help people realize their potential. The programme aims to fast-track career development, offering extensive on-the-job learning, classroom training, and mentorship to equip future leaders.
Tasks
As a Young Professional, you will gain practical experience through on-the-ground work, which involves:
- Engaging directly with complex social challenges in communities.
- Learning by doing alongside people in diverse settings.
- Contributing to efforts that support individuals to realize their potential.
- Leading community-based projects.
- Participating in field exposure and learning directly from BRAC leaders.
The specific tasks will vary based on the program area (e.g., Ultra-Poor Graduation, WASH, Integrated Development, Road Safety, Microfinance, Health, or support functions like Finance, HR, Communications, Procurement, Social Innovation Lab).

Qualifications
Education and Certification
Applicants must be fresh graduates or young professionals with a minimum bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
Experience
While direct professional experience isn’t essential, BRAC values curiosity, empathy, and a strong willingness to learn and take ownership of challenges. Candidates should demonstrate leadership abilities through organizing events, projects, or initiatives (e.g., extracurricular activities, volunteering, social causes), showcasing energy, agility, and passion. Special encouragement is given to those who have demonstrated resilience, faced personal struggles, and shown the ability to bounce back and push forward.
