Key Responsibilities
As a Procurement Intern, you will support the Global Procurement Services Division Health team by:
- Administrative Support: Assist in the preparation of meeting materials, including reports, presentations, and agendas.
- Webinar Coordination: Help organize and deliver webinars through platforms such as Zoom and MS Teams.
- Data Management: Collect procurement and logistic information and update online platforms for tracking deliveries and results.
- Process Improvement: Develop and improve templates and systematic tools to streamline procurement processes.
- Market Research: Conduct preliminary market research for health products and draft reports based on findings.
- Database Maintenance: Support the maintenance of supplier databases and the filing system in SharePoint and other platforms.
- Procurement Planning: Assist in procurement plan consolidation exercises and maintain dashboards.
- Communication Materials: Help create and update infographics, videos, and presentations for the health procurement team.
Qualifications
- Education: Must meet one of the following criteria:
- Enrolled in a graduate program (Master’s or equivalent).
- Final year of a Bachelor’s degree program.
- Recent university graduate (within one year of graduation).
- Skills:
- Strong IT skills with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (PPT, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proven research and analytical aptitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate cultural sensitivity.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; good working knowledge of French or another UN language is an asset.
