Background & Job Description
The African Union International Centre for Girls and Women’s Education in Africa (AU CIEFFA), in partnership with ImpactHER, is launching an Online Capacity Building Training to address skill gaps among young African women and men. This initiative focuses on developing expertise in Gender equality in and through Education, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), Digital Literacy, Financial Literacy, and Entrepreneurship. It also specifically aims to enhance the capacity of women teachers to effectively teach digital literacy and STEAM subjects. The training seeks to empower participants to drive positive change and bridge critical gender gaps across the continent.
Tasks
Participants will engage in a one-month intensive online training (batches starting from September 2025). The program is structured to provide knowledge and skills in:
- Gender equality in and through Education.
- Digital Skills.
- Entrepreneurial Skills.
- Financial Literacy.
To receive certificates, participants must attend at least 80% of the training courses per program.
