UNICEF works in some of the world’s most challenging locations to improve the lives of disadvantaged children. The Education Outcomes Fund (EOF) focuses on closing gaps in education and youth employment for underserved populations, including girls, refugees, and children with disabilities. The Partnerships Internship provides practical experience in managing donor relationships, conducting research, producing briefings, and supporting fundraising initiatives to advance education and skills programs for 10 million children and youth.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Conduct primary and secondary research on potential funders in public and private sectors.
- Prepare detailed briefing memos for leadership and partnerships colleagues.
- Support the development of program concept notes and funding proposals.
- Maintain and manage data in the partnerships team CRM (HubSpot).
- Coordinate cross-team projects and administrative tasks, including event logistics.
- Participate in calls, webinars, and outreach with partners at key sector events.

Education & Certification
- Enrolled in or recently graduated (within 2 years) from an undergraduate or graduate program.
- Degree in economics, political science, development, education, or related fields preferred.
- Excellent academic performance demonstrated through transcripts.
Experience & Skills
- Fluency in English (French, Spanish, or Arabic is desirable).
- Partnership-building and relationship management skills.
- Experience in research, fundraising, or international development is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-energy environments.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
Other Requirements
- Minimum age: 18 years old.
- No immediate relatives working in UNICEF offices related to the position.
- Right to work in the UK (remote/hybrid options may be considered).
